50 photographs, 2015 to today
The work, as it actually looked
Banners carried through a market in 2015. Eight hundred questions written by schoolchildren in 2016. Counselling rooms, shared kitchens and safe spaces today. Every photograph here is of our own work.
Tejuosho Market, Lagos · 2015
Raising Voices Against Violence
A street campaign taken directly to traders and commuters: banners, wristbands, bus stickers and hundreds of one-to-one conversations about violence against women and girls.

Raising Her Awareness on Gender-Based Violence in Nigeria · 2015–2016
The campaign materials
The printed matter behind the street campaign: banners, posters, a screening leaflet and a wristband, produced for the 16 Days of Activism under the For Sisterz Only platform with the funding support of the African Women’s Development Fund. They are reproduced here as they were printed — the language, the helpline numbers and the funder credits are all the originals.

Secondary schools, Lagos · 2016
Eight Hundred Questions
The Sexual Violence Awareness Project in schools, where students asked more than eight hundred written questions — the record that became the handbook and the newsletter now in the Knowledge Hub.

Lagos and beyond · Current
The work today
Counselling, safe spaces, legal literacy, shared kitchens, school support and safe-migration briefings — the six thematic areas as they run now.
