Kate Ijeoma Ibeanusi is a gender practitioner, certified leadership coach and mentor, seasoned HR practitioner, trained facilitator, and social impact leader with over 27 years of experience spanning the private, public, and civil society sectors across West and East Africa. She holds an MA in African Studies from the University of Ibadan, a Diploma in Development Leadership from Coady International Institute, Canada, a Certificate in Social Sector Management from the Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Mentoring and Coaching Nigeria (CIMCN) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

A Fellow of the African Leadership Centre/King’s College London Peace & Security for African Women Programme, she has delivered transformative training across Nigeria, Rwanda, Zambia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. Kate is the Principal Consultant of Kate Ibeanusi Consulting Ltd, host of Unsilenced Voices That Matter, and author of The Total Woman — Becoming Her and We Keep Moving. She founded Sheerah Verenda Full Life Initiative to protect vulnerable women and children and advance community-led solutions to gender-based violence in Nigeria
