About Me:
Benjamin Odeh is a legal practitioner and Principal Associate at Benjamin Odeh & Associates, and a Founding Partner at Highfortress Legal Consult and the Highfortress Economic and Civil Liberty Initiative. He brings extensive experience in family law, probate, and litigation, with a particular focus on women’s human rights advocacy in the courts.
A certified mediator, Benjamin has facilitated Alternative Dispute Resolution training at the Lagos State Multi-Door Courthouse, equipping both legal and non-legal practitioners with skills to resolve complex disputes. His trainees have included officials from the Ministries of Justice in Enugu, Jigawa, Kano, and Lagos States. He also holds broad expertise in corporate practice, commercial advisory, and civil litigation.
Benjamin currently consults for the Nigeria Maritime Safety Agency Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Ltd, where he has secured landmark agreements between the Cooperative and its key stakeholders. He is a recognised public analyst and regular commentator on national issues across major television platforms.
As Board Chair, he provides strategic legal oversight and governance leadership to the organisation’s mission of protecting vulnerable women, children, and families.
